Communication is always important, both inside and outside work. What are your favourite communication strategies?
I prefer to be honest and straightforward when I communicate, so I can be as clear as possible. But then again, I’m from Berlin so that’s one of our signature traits 😉
What motivates you to get up in the morning?
Honestly, I am a huge fitness fan and I love everything about it. I learn so much every day in this company and I feel I’m really making an impact. Whenever I propose an idea that fits, my supervisor supports me to help make it a reality. That makes it very easy to get up in the morning.
How do you and your team members stay connected in the new hybrid work reality?
Every morning, we have an efficient 15 minute PR update. We talk through our daily schedule and if we’re struggling with something, we’ll tell the team. Throughout the day, we share our press releases and texts with each other to ask the others for advice and their opinions. That’s very helpful and that means, we are constantly in contact with each other.
You took part in several Urban Sports Club team events lately – which is your favourite one so far and why?
The Berlin company run in September was awesome. The weather was HORRIBLE, it poured with rain, but there was a cool atmosphere amongst the team. After we completed the 5k run, 30 runners from Urban Sports Club tried to protect themselves from the rain by standing under the Brandenburger Tor. The group selfie is hilarious.
If you could add a personal value to one of Urban Sports Club’s company values, what would you add and why?
Being nice doesn’t hurt. But to be fair, I haven’t met anyone in the company who isn’t nice yet 😉
